If you are experiencing a water or sewer problem call the city first. A crew will be dispatched to check the problem from the cities responsibility first. This may save you a plumbing service call. Daytime phone is 494-7520 and after hours is 494-7555.
 
  • The sewer department is jetting out the sewer lines throughout the city. They are starting at the south end and going north. If residents are experiencing sewer smell in their homes, they are to flush the stools and run water down the drains. This will help clear the air of the smell. If the smell persists, call 494-7520 and someone will be dispatched to that address. This is a sewer maintenance program to help prevent any large sewer problems.
